I got a request to make a 2'x11' magnetic sign to stick on the sides of a limozine. I am wondering if it will fall off going down the road. I know it "should" stick, but will it really? That's pretty heavy for a magnetic sign (and really tacky ).

Hiya Jean, The problem with magnets that size is handling and storage.
Getting it to lie straight and flat on the vehicle can be a 2 or 3 person job too.
Beyond that, it is a magnet and you should be good to go. Like the others said, no guarantees though.
Havin' fun,
Checkers

On a trip to Arizona a few years ago, I covered the lettering on my van with 2' x 8' magnet. Most of the trip was at 80 mph, and near 100 a few times. The magnets held great, but my concern with the limo would be the likelyhood of a LOT of bondo. I would let the customer know that if the sides are metal, it will work. If they were shaped from aluminum or fiberglas, or have a lot of bondo, it's not gonna work.

How about that vinyl they use at the car lots that say 30MPG or payments as low as $199 a month. They come off easily and stick well enough?

I've do it! It works fine. Just check the vehicle with a magnet.
