Here's a different wrap, a tail of a Dash 8, we had to wrap the entire tail with an aggressive Vinyl by Arlon, they wanted an old logo covered completely, with no image showing through so we had to do the whole tail, 95 ft x 4ft high, 380 sq. ft...I know this is is not Portfolio worthy, but it just goes to show the diversity of work we do, we are also wrapping an entire Bus today as well, a large touring bus, Trailers, Buses, Planes, all we need now is a train.. oh wait, I just remembered, we have a little work to do on a Locomotive at a museum here this week...not a wrap but a Train nontheless.lol

Way cool, it amazes me all the different work you do and the consistent quality I've seen come from your shop.

I figure any day now I will see a picture on the net of a Beluga Whale's dorsal fin with a SIGNS1st wrap on it. [Wink]

Hi Deri, yes we used 380 sqft of this High Tac Vinyl that Arlon has, it was just printed on the Roland and laminated. You really have to watch the install as the adhesive is very agressive,, this Vinyl is meant for concrete Blocks and irregular surfaces. The High performance Conform don't fair well on these applications, it usually starts to lift at the leading edge and after a while looks really raggedy... I'm curious how this will fair myself, a lot of expansion and contraction going to take place, but believe it or not this is only going to be on there for a couple of months as they are in the middle of a Logo Change.

Who's going to get the lovely job of stripping off that vinyl?
Will the new logo be painted on?

Diane

It may be painted at the Paint shop, but then again I might be the one redoing the graphics, I've done literally dozens of these for them. I have been doing work for them for well over 25 years, before computer cut vinyl... I Actually painted them by hand with 1shot and quills and rollers...BC.
