Hello all. Long time no chat. I have been in deep thought over teh recent "tips" that I received from Sign Craft about offering "promotional products" and keep 'em coming back. I get it. Would be interested to get your feedback on how lucritive, stressful, dog eat dog (competition here is not as fierce as the sign competition) BUT, mainly, am interested in "where to start"..."who to call"..."In Canada" to begin ordering product through.who should i "not" as well...
I think we could really hit the ground running with our current clientel and our competition. Thank you for your time.

I worked at a screen shop that offered promotional products- of course it involved a monthly subscription to ASI to be able to offer those products- in the end, we may have broke even, but we were able to offer some other stuff.
These days, I offer the same types of stuff, but I use a local company that is with ASI- I sell the products and they give me a commission- works well for me with no overhead.

Ive been offering these items for the past10 years. We have a large promotional business here and I can smoke their prices! I sell printed bags, stadium cups, erasers, frisbees balloons and so on
Every time I quote I hit the internet and get the cheapest price. Going back to the same source you used previously does not matter in price, they do not respect you came back nor do they drop their "setup BS fees"
I make a little money off these items. I have also lost my a$$ as we do when we are in business. I have placed order for wrong size, wrong color, i have done it all
I have better luck with ordering printing. business cards, letterhead brochures. I make great money on that stuff and spank the local printers, which doesnt bother me cause they all have sign plotters.
Its great to offer these services and if someone asked me can you get ?, I dont skip a beat and I say yes we can get that done for you
