I just saw this on FB. This really makes me feel sad. I met him in Cincinatti at the Zoo, & talked to him a lot. I really hoped to meet up with him again. He was a really colorful character!
Do you know what was wrong with him, that he passed away Sal?

I was told that the attendance at Friday nights celebration was (apparently - I couldn't attend) quite impressive . . . and though tired, Keith was truly grateful to have made so many friends.
As it should have been. Keith inspired some of our best designers . . . Cool guy. Rare personality. Story after story. I'll hear that distinctive voice in my head until it's my turn to 'transition' . . .
Thanks for 'teaching' Keith . . . I listened. So did many others . . .

He was unique, to say the least - but one of those kin d gentlemen that would tell you all that he knew about our business and truly wanted you to be the best you could be.
His kidneys failed, along with eye sight, and other problems. He choose to say good-by to his friends and made his exit. Rest in peace.

Keith was on my bucket list of human being to meet. I know he had a great influence on the sign painters crowd. Never actually meet Keith but we had a few nice conversation over the phone. Shame on me, I couldn't make it last friday to say goodbye. Now I hope there's something after life so I can get to paint with one of my sign heroes. RIP Keith.
