That reminds me, a few years back I found this, what I thought was dead, in a small lake, a Seagull. I picked him out of the water, took him home and I thought "He's proboly gonna die" He looked so bad, he just layed on the ground. Next morrning he was up. I let him out of the small dog kennel and he started flying around in my garage. So I opened the door and out he flew. He landed on my neighbor's house let out a seagull cry and off he went.

From the newspaper "Smoke Signals" the Grand Ronde. tribal weekly. A Bald Eagle hit by a car near Bend oregon, was rescued by a passerby and taken to a vet who is a tribal member. The bird had to be given CPR, mouth to beak by the vet to keep it alive. It will have to be kept in captivity in the future because of the injuries. It has been named "PATRIOT" by the tribe and will be protected as a living symbol from now on. I work as a grafic designer for the tribe which has, Umpqua, Mollala, Rouge River, Kalapuya and Chasta, bands to make up it's Cultural Foundation.
