Hey guys, I just recently did a box truck for a good customer, 8'x24' flat sides with rivets plus the rear roll up door. Customer supplied the printed graphics (14 4'x8' sheets) and I did install only. Material was ControlTac RA, really nice stuff BTW and the job went relatively smoothly. Just wondering how many hours you would figure for install. I gave him an initial estimate for lettering the sides plus a graphic, but then the parent company got involved and ended up supplying the materials. Anyway, I don't do this kind of thing every day and was curious how many hours you would figure for install on a job like this.
Thanks!

6 hours for 2 guys - so 12 hours total. I assume this would include cleaning the truck as well? Customer pulls in with truck, hands you the box of prints and 6 hours later it is done? Any input on what you would charge/fair price for an install like that?

If you don't do this kind of thing, the 6 hours - 2 guys may not be good for you!

Well the truck should at least be washed.. we do degrease first.. like it should be. The Guys I have are experienced, one person doing this will take longer than 12 hours, it just the way it is...Hold this for me,Hand me that... the guys know what the other is thinking so when I say experience, that's includes being able to read what the other is thinking. I'd say about $800-900 bux for install. I'm curious as well what others would charge.

Thanks, guys. Had someone tell me most installers charge $2-4 per sq ft for install. Not sure if that was the range for this type of job or if the high end was for more complex wraps. This one ran about 460+ sq ft for sides, rear and some on the front. Had to do this one on site and the climate wasn't controlled.
