A customer of mine has been asked to include an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act sign on a project he's involved in.

I'm sure there are specific guidelines for these signs. Does anyone know where to look for the specifications?

The second place I looked, after posting here, was Google. Unlike most previous attempts, where "signs" or "signing" bring up results of politicians signing something into law, I actually came up with this:

It gives very specific guidelines and files. If followed, can anyone put up one of these signs?

I'm not talking 'gospel'; this is something I heard.

But these signs were part of the government stimulus crap, you know, the so-called shovel-ready jobs?

I understand that these signs cost the government almost $10,000 EACH!! Imagine that!!

So, I hope you can do even half that well; you'll be sitting pretty.

We did a few of these. Pretty easy money. Granted, we didn't get $10,000 each for them put they helped pay my tax bill.

Any shop can do them as long as your licensed and Insured. Since I am a 1 man show I didn't have to worry about all the other hoops larger shops sometimes have to go through.
(Proving all my employees are Legal residents, workman comp,Davis Bacon wages ect..)
