I've spent alot of this morning trying to publish to PDF a coreldraw file for a book cover. The result is always cropped to an 8.5 by 11 page. I finally exported as a high resolution jpg and used Corel paint to publish to PDF successfully. However I'm concerned I may have lost some clarity in the final result by exporting twice. Any tips or direction to webpage answers would be appreciated.

No real help here except that you should be able to open the original Draw file in Paint without exporting first. Then you would be exporting it only once.

You have to make the drawing board the size of the PDF you want. Right now the drawing board is 8.5x11.
Anything outside it will be cropped.

Ron,
Do you have the page layout in corel the same size as the illustrated cover page you created?
I have had a larger sized sign that I sent out as a pdf and when the pdf was open all it showed was the lower part of one of the letters that happen to be over top of the standard 8 1/2 x 11 page.
I had to make the page 36" x 24" in page setup and then publish to pdf and then it worked fine.

Give it a try and let us know.
Sandy

Ron, what size is your book cover? Make your workspace whatever that size is. The pdf will be whatever size you make your workspace. (the box that is set up in Corel, which defaulst to 8.5 by 11)

Also, if you are talking about how it prints out, you may have to make adjustments on the printer setting end of things.

I hope I'm giving appropriate comments on your circumstances here. lol
I also work in Corel x3 here ... so my comments may not apply

The created CDR is the actual size of the wrap around book cover 13.099 by 9.25 including rear cover, spine and front cover, bleeds included. I could not find a menu to over ride the pdf default of 8.25 by 11.
