What would be the first words be out of your mouth if you recieved this call on your cell This past Sunday Morning at 8:30 in the morning on the long holiday weekend?
Phone Rings, first it is totally inaudible, broken up badly... it goes dead... never understood not a single word... I go outside onthe deck, the phone rings again... I say Hello.. the Lady on the line says... "Do you put Photos on Fabric?"
I'm not going to say what I said.. just want to hear what you first response would be, but it has to be your first response... What's the first thing that comes to your mind?
I'll let you know how it went down.

No, not on Saturday mornings of the long weekend, but I do that type of things 40 hours a week. Call me within those hours and I will certainly help you out ok?. And then smile, because customers can hear a smile on the phone. (They can also hear a frown, so don't do that)

How did she get your cell#? Do have your cell# listed on your website or business card? If so, I would answer her question.

Well I did answer her question, that I don't print on fabric, and then she proceed to tell me that in the Phone book, I have listed that I print on Banners, and I said that is different,,, I then asked if this could wait until Monday morning, that it was early Sunday morning... and if it was an Emergencey?

She may have just wanted to leave a message and didn't expect you to pick up the phone. I've called suppliers after hours assuming I'll get voicemail and a callback the next day.....

In this day and age, when Walmart and other businesses are open nearly every minute of every day, it's not surprising that people would try to call during "business hours" on a weekend.
On the other hand, if this person knows you and knows that it's your private cell number. That is rude.

This gets disturbing to say the least, after I asked if it was an emergency she said that we want a quilt with a little boys face on it who was dying"..... .. "I"m Sorry that is different" and before I had the chance to say anything else she said and I quote..."Go F Yourself and hung up.
When I got to work this morning she had left another disgusting message on the phone.... I do have her Cell Number and if she calls again, I'll may have to take some kind of action... but I doubt she will call again....But you know the way I look at it is that you never know what's going through someones mind, if it was the mother which I doubt, she would be in distress and would'nt have the right state of mind... and if it was a friend, then that person was out of line... It was just disturbing...
She first should have Apologized about calling so early on a Sunday Morning and promptly told me what she wanted... even though I could not have helped her I may have been able to come up with a solution.
