Okay, among many other corel issues, here is another. I have opened an eps. doc. from a customer and the font color looks fine on white, but if i put a colored background behind it, the font color looks translucent.
The pallete color box shows the color that is chosen, but inside and to the right side of the box there is a verticle line. I cannot get this to be a solid filled letter/font.

Can anyone help me? I am on a strict time frame with this customer and MGM which has to approve this and takes them up to 8 days to do so.

Thanks for any input. Very much appreciated.

Theresa

Without seeing the file, I can't say for sure what is happening. There are some things to try:

Select the letters and go to "Transparency" and verify it says "None".

If there isn't much text and it shows up fine on white background but you need to change the background, you might copy the text, change it to white, and put it behind the colored text.

You might also make a box the size of the page the color you need the background to be and then use your text to "Trim" that background so the original white shows through.

A variation of the above is to copy the text and combine the copy with your colored background which will accomplish the same as the trim function. Then move your combined piece behind the original text.

You can also send the file to me and I'll look at it. I'm using X5 but can save it back to X4.
