My prayers are with Mark and Carolyn. I remember him from all the years on Letterville and meets.
My sister did go to the center and they were wonderful with their holistic outlook and caring about each patient with wonderful respect.
There are so many advances these days and I have several friends that are survivors to this day so here's hoping the best outcome will come to Carolyn,
Deb

Deb, it's great to know someone who has had a positive experience at the center.
I have been away from this site for a while but check in now and then to keep up with you guys. Thanks so much for your prayers and support. This is a shocker and will be a tough road.

Just the word cancer is scary but then again there has been such progress in the medical field lately that there is quite a bit of hope is out there! I will tell Doug & Caryl, your hosts here in Pontiac. I'm sure they would like to know and add you to their prayer list. We will keep you in our prayers, too, Mark & Carolyn.

Oh Mark...all my postive thoughts and best wishes are being sent to you and Carolyn (thnaks for posting Ray). As the others have stated, there have been many advancements with cancer treatments. I hope you see the glass as being half full....and keep that positive attitude. Love and humour are great healers...one day at a time. All the best to you both.

Thank you all for the support. Even though I'm not as active with meets and even this board, I still have made so many great friends and I value that. I will try to keep in touch.

Not at this time Glenn, but thank you. We are going weds. to meet with a team in Tulsa to find a course of action. Looks like a major surgery first. Her insurance is going to pay 100% for rest of this year, so at least that is a relief. I'm not going to get much work done here and that will hurt some. We have family support and very little debt. Carolyn has 300 built up PTO hours at her job plus vacation if it comes to that. Right now we just want to focus on her getting well.
