My poor old Roland PNC 1100 which only gets dragged out from time to time these days has started tracking badly because the nylon roller keeps peeling off the knurled bearing it's supposed to be attached to. I suspect this is a common problem especially given the age of the unit and that parts might be interchangable. I'm quite happy to buy the bits outside Au if anyone can point me to a supplier. I haven't had much luck with Roland Au.

I don't know if this helps but Beacon Graphics sells pinch rollers for Roland Plotters.

Dave, I used Fleabay-there's some Hong Kong or Chinese supplier and they cost something like $8 a pair plus post a year ago, so I bought two pairs-a spare set for the spare plotter.
If you need them in a hurry, I'll pull them off & post them down to you.
Otherwise I think it took about 8 days to get them from 'Asia', via Evilbay.
You need tweezers, vaseline & a good mood when you reinstall them-the washers & spring circlips have a habit of slippping! There's also a left & a right, or an inside & an outside, but I can;t remember how to tell-it does make a difference though in keeping the vinyl flat & under mild tension, I believe.

Just check the centre shaft diam-3mm or 4mm-they have both sizes.
