I have a customer looking for some 30 to 40 foot high flagpoles. There are quite a few of them shown in catalogs from a number of suppliers, but I was wondering about installation.
I would expect a forty foot high pole to be a nightmare to install.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions for this?

Bore hole in ground with auger, insert PVC tube larger than O.D. of flag pole, insert pole in center of tube, level, pour sand around pole and pack. Will never move!
Or check with flag pole manufacture who will tell you the same thing.
