Just got my copy today, It's always nice to see a book on the subject but I thought the actual graphic design of the book was poor, given the pictorial nature of the subject the layout of the pictures is amature to say the least, Too many small pictures 3 across 3 down on many pages. Also I found the legal note at the front amusing. I know its the standard copyright stuff about not reproducing parts of the book without permission but given that there are 6 of my signs in there and about 30 plus from the studio where I used to work all reproduced without permission then published in a book. having said all that a lot of of pub signs were and still are copyrght theft and I suppose they are in a public place to be photographed , all in all worth it as a reference book but could have been a lot better. If you want to get a better book on the subject then ISBN : 1852910186 Title : Pub Signs EAN : 9781852910181 Authors : Paul Corballis is probably as good as it gets also Stanley Chews pub signs is worth a look
