I haven't been around in a while. Working too much at the "day job" and not making too many signs any more.
I have had a good relationship with another business in the area in the past. He is a designer and I have been the computer guy. I have been thinking of trading my sign equipment for some tools (TIG welder!!) he has so we can both work at our own pace without having to rely on meeting up with each other to get things done. This deal is beneficial for both of us.
Anyway, last year my computer that I was using for the plotter fried. What I am trying to do is get a computer system up and running for him to use with the plotter. I have been trying to load Signlab 4.95 on this machine for him but my disks are so old I can't get it to load. Does anyone have the installation files they could email? I am still the registered owner of a valid Dongle, I just can't load their program. Signlab used to have the files available for download on their site but this is too old now.
Things are going very well for me now and I will still keep all the "hand tools" of the trade for small fun projects. I like having the ability to pick and choose or just do nice things for family and friends. I will now contract any computer work to the new owner of my plotter and computer equipment if needed.
Thank you.
I do miss the Letterhead Lifestyle a lot some days.
Sorry I can't help with your Signlab problem, as you know I used to cut from CorelDraw directly.
Currently retired and spending as much time as we can in Mexico.
Glad to hear things are going well for you.
