35 years ago I had an old Toyota Land Cruiser which we had stuffed a large V-8 into. It had a full roll cage, five point harness, winch, massive tires, lift kit, bright yellow paint and a whole lot more. It was lettered with the moniker 'Bionic Banana'. Each weekend we would head out to the bush and see just how far we could push it. We travelled to places that seemed almost impossible. It was pure fun!
This sign/display project is bringing back memories of that time so long ago. The client even asked that we paint it bright yellow. I finished cutting the last of the pieces on the router today from Precision Board. I welded up the suspension and mocked it up to make sure it looked good.
During the Sign Magic workshop, next weekend this will be the demo project. I'm looking forward to working on it... all the while remembering those four wheeling days so long ago...
