Just wondering if this is a good idea.
Much less $ than Roland Inks, but I would like to be sure there are no bad consequences.

Any feedback is invited here from those in the know. [Smile]

Thanks bunches,
~ nettie

not a big fan of aftermarket inks, it takes a while but aftermarket inks can cause issues with the capping stations, wipers and rubber parts, and that can lead to heads being damaged and drying out, this won't likely show up for a few months though, also heard of colour issues and prmature fading, not specifically triangle though,
p.s. I might be a little biased as a roland dealer but for the amount of ink most small shops use, even if you cut that cost in half but end up with an otherwise unecessary service call or have to replace a head your savings can dissappear pretty quickly

Honestly, I had a Supplier change my inks a few months back, they were about half the cost, after about 2 or 3 days I had him switch the machine back... believe it or not, the laminate would not adhere very well to the print...it would delaminate.... so I would be very careful.

I'm not sure Pete, Triangle sound familiar? I believe they are reformulating them and calling them some other name.

I haven't had luck either. We tried it, but changed them back right away. Stick to name brand and charge for it.

Looks like a common theme! [Smile]
