I finally posted my website and have taken lots of very good advice into account over the last several days. It is by no means complete as I will be updating and adding material constantly, but I wanted to share it with you all.
I certainly have been influenced by Dan S., Bill D. and others....and I don't feel guilty saying that at all. I'm trying to put my own twist on the work- but considering I started this journey less than a year ago, I'm happy with the progress.

It's looking better all the time Doug. One thing that would appeal to my eye is to keep the writing and layout consistent that you did in the fancy scroll thingy on the first page and do the same on all the other pages. Keep it simple so folks know where to look for information. Keep your pictures and graphics under the scroll bar. You might consider keeping the navigation bar just under the writing like on the first page and then adding a second navigation bar at the bottom on the longer page.
So far in such a short time... just imagine where you go from here!

I spent this a.m. cleaning up some mis-spelled words and correcting little issues. One big one...I never took a photo that totally showed the completed sign display...how goofy is that? You'll certainly notice some of the pieces on the display are from Dan's workshop (letters). Once I took a photo, I realized it belonged on the front page, so I've modified that. Now I have to build a blog. In the meantime, I've written introduction letters to several of the agencies in our area and am trying to build some promotion to get the word out. Man this is fun!
