Bending Square tubing requires a special type of die, that not only holds the sides in check but also dimples the inside edge of the bend radius, I have built a 1" tubing bender out of scrap steel that resembles an electricians conduit bender. we have aptly named it the hatchet due to its looks. If you go on you tube, do a search on bending square tubing you might find it there. otherwise google it. I know I found it on the web and you can too.
