Yes, something is definitely happening-it's getting wetter & also drier, hotter, and also colder - must be global warming...

LOL Neil . . . If all the global-warming fans would get with the people who are dealing with freezing rain and crazy snow, they'd be able to come to a very moderate and agreeable tempature . . .
And what about all the extending?
I don't think I've ever read an news article where they spaced one small word about 8-letter spaces until it was the entire width of the column . . . why on the alleged warm earth was that necessary?
The real news flash is: there's another thread on here where someone over-condensed a line of copy, therefore, somehow, it is entirely incumbent upon us to get these two fanatics together and rid the globe of extreme letter conditions . . .

The Sky is falling! I was at a local Marine store here about 10 years ago, and I was chatting with this retired fisherman, he was around 80 years old... he basically said that with all these scientists trying to predict global warming and what not, with all the satellites, and fancy computers, they did not once ask any questions to any of us folks who have been around for the best part of this century. He told me he remembers through out his years, of winters with no snow, not even any ice hardly, he also remembers winters of snow so high he used to trip over telephone wires...also summers that were very cold and also very hot... well I'm 52, about 12 years ago we had a winter where the lakes did'nt freeze, and no snow... but a couple of years after that, bombarded with snow and Ice. Even today as I type there is not a sign of snow or ice, this January 12th, 2011. but Alas, they are predicting our first snowfall tomorrow, about 15 cm.... oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
