This weekend I got down to business and worked up a design for the mural I will be leading in Plymouth Walldog Meet in June. The wall is perfect for lots of helpers, low to the ground and a good size. Better yet it is of my favorite subject matter... TRAINS!
Here's how the concept came together...
I originally tried to paste the video here but it didn't work... so I have pasted in my the addy for my blog page where it works...

Thanks Si. It is a little known fact that Dan is actually quite technically challenged at times. That being said, I'd love to dab a bit of paint on this one. Trains really are kool.

My goal was not to post a picture like Si did but rather to post a video which unveils the mural as I did the drawing - one section at a time - just as they go up on the walls. If you follow the link and then click on the arrow on the video window in my blog it will show.
And Duncan I would love to have you put some paint on this wall! Consider yourself conscripted.

Hmmm, I'm a big fan of your work, Dan, but the scroll isn't working very well in my eyes. It seems to be competing for attention with the train, and the cut off telephone lines and vehicle versus the overlapping signal arm seem to just add more confusion to the mix. My eyes just don't seem to know where to land on this one.
