Dennis, I don't know bout all the states bout having them outside the cab but I believe they have to be locked up as like in the trunk or in 3 pieces for hand guns but don't hold me to it.
Finished the transmission conversion against the stock V8 today after having shifting problems late December even before it was finished and took my 90 Chevy truck home today, out on the freeway cruising at 65 mph @ 1200 rpm in 6th gear, it was awesome and the transmission shifted like butter after the updates to the syncros and bushings, Truck cruises, no rattles or vibrations but may have to run lower rear gear ration or drop the tire size. This is going to be one hell of a ride.
