Recently I have installed 3 common fonts on Windows 7. The only way that I know to do it in Windows 7 is to go to the directory where all my CorelDraw fonts are stored, right click on the font that I want and then click on install.
Everything seems to install correctly, but when I open CorelDraw and try to use that font all there is is a name but no preview and even if I chose the font nothing appers on the page.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a work around or a different way to install fonts that I don't know about? There doesn't appear to be an installed fonts folder in Windows 7, like all past versions, where you used to install.

This may not be the proper way, but this is how I do it:
1. C drive... windows...fonts. 2. Open corel fonts list from CD/DVD (or other drive) 3. Make sure both windows are visible on your screen. 4. Drag and drop.

Warren, I don't Have font navigator installed, never needed it in the past but if I have I will.
Weston, I have tried install, drag and drop and copy/paste all result in an invisible font.
In checking the fony folder that I did find, the sample image appears and looks like a cryllic style. Very strange!!!

Dave I ave had to reboot upon occasion in order to see the font in corel after installing it,and on another note did you check to see if the font file was copied to the /windows/font folder?

Bitstream is the answer, but you may have to change the compatibility mode of bitstream to windows XP. it may work without changing compatibility, but erhaps not with type 1 fonts.

Thanks for the advice Mike. I was able to accomplish what I wanted by using the wife's laptop with Win XP converting text to curves and imorting into this Win 7 laptop.
I'll have to install Font Navigator and play around with it.
