I have a small project that calls for a piece of extruded plastic material known by several different names: Densetec, Plastic Lumber, PolyCarve, PolyTone, ColorCore. It's been discussed before so I'm wondering if anyone has been using it. My reason is that I don't need a whole sheet and am looking for someone who may have a drop from a sheet that they would like to let go of - beige/green/beige (beige on the outside with a green core). My sign will be 3'x4' or smaller.

Thanks!

why not charge the customer for a full sheet...and keep the drop for yourself for a future job?

Or use some of the drop to make a sample to get more orders?

I agree. I have some green-beige-green, but not that big.

Yeah, that seems like a good idea to have drop but I've sold this stuff in the past and for some reason (cost?) it just doesn't catch on. This is for an addition to an existing set of signs we did a few years ago and we used all of our stock in this color then. I don't anticipate on using any more any time soon so I was trying to find an easy way out. I can absorb the cost. The customer cost for the sign will cover the material (full sheet) and fabrication expense as noted above. I know this stuff will sit around so if it ends up that way, I'll have some drop if anyone needs it!
