Just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone and hope that everyone is doing well. Bev & I are doing well... all things considered. Have had some health issues that we hope are under control. Became 1st time Grandparents 4months ago. Our daughter & son-in-law brought a 6lb, 12oz bouncing baby boy into this world. Needless to say, we're delighted with the addition of Aiden James Housten to the family. I've kept up with the graphic arts industry to a small degree. A lot of new stuff and some positive changes aaaand some old things that never seem to change... some good, some not so. Bev & I sold our home 3 years ago and are full time R/Ving... and loving it. If you don't like the weather...pick up and move, don't like your neighbors, pick up and..... you get the picture. Looking forward to to seeing what's new with all of you. It's good to be back.

Hi Frank - it's good to hear from you. Whenever I'm around a group of painters, your name always comes up and the fact that we miss you and your considerable expertise at the L'head meets. If your RV ever happens to be in the Atlanta area, stop on by, we'd love to see you.
and congrats, Grandpa........

Good to hear your voice again(I do hear voices when I read a post from someone that I know the voice to hear).
If you find yourself in Central or Western Kentucky we have 3 acres of yard, and 1 acre of woods. if the RV won't fit in that you can leave it on the parkway, and climb the hill to my shop.

It's good to hear from everyone. I miss the events where I was able to see so many of you both professionally and socially. This industry changes at break neck speed that if you blink more than once, you've missed alot. I wonder how much of a call for the old style enamels like 1Shot & Ronan, especially since there has been an uptick in the use of "Uro" style coatings... ie, faster drying, clearcoat friendly, etc. It's a shame that some of the old style products haven't been able to keep up with the mandated chemical changes and still meet the industry needs... which are and have been very specific. Please know that I'm not looking to re-open an old can of worms, but to find out what has transpired in the 5 years that I've been out of the loop. I've heard some "stuff" and been to a few USSC shows, but I have been out of the loop too long.
As for being a Grandparent, it is, as so many of you know.... GREAT!.It's also the greatest way to "get even with your kid". You take their child, "spoil the daylghts out of them", and then send them back home. It's a great program. We're probably going to stay in Delaware for another year to stay close to Aiden, get a hip repaired & rehab'd and then get back on the road. Never a dull moment.

Glad you get to travel around...that's my dream but not right now it's good to be grounded here even though it's cold, I have my family here and Florida is not missed like family and seasons. Still, congrats on the new one!!
