Thanks Si for posting about my birthday, and for all you that have responded. Several folks called and others sent emails and posted on Facebook. Thanks to all of you. I'm blessed.
This was number 66. The figure is relative - to some it is old, to others it is young. To me, it's just a number. I try not to look in a mirror because the image I see in the glass is not the image I see in my head. I'll stick with how I feel inside.
It was a good day. I got to do what I love to do. Jeanne gave me a nice present, a customer picked up a sign that they loved (even wrote a check), and I went to bed tired but satisfied. What more could you ask?
The sun came up this morning and I'm upright. I am blessed.

Well Ray.....that was a good day. My 59th passed a few months ago and as it was a Saturday I went to work ;=) I did a drawing/pattern for something I was dying to do and a friend dropped in with a cake...emblazened with my logo. There was play-off hockey on and my wife was away when my mother-in-law suggested she and my sister-in-law should drop in with an uncooked chicken and keep me company. Sheesh....I had some great beef ribs set aside and a few bottles of different world beers as well as an HD channel on the Stanley Cup. All to say it also was a great day and night alone at home!! My sixty-eth I have going to the park and feeding the pigeons in mind ...just as exciting.

Ray, I have a similar way of looking at it but yours is more eloquent. Happy Birthday.
