Well, since Jane was here yesterday bragging about her husband Bill on their anniversary, I just had to chime in about the milestone that Jeanne and I celebrate today.
Forty-seven years ago today my high school sweetheart and I began our life journey together. It has been a "great adventure" as she told me this morning before I left for the studio.
It takes a very special person to put up with someone like me and she has done it to perfection. In January we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of our first date. Even then she knew that she was in for a unique ride as most of our "dating" time was spent with me painting signs.
Tonight we will go out to eat and visit an art gallery that has recently opened in our little town (I did their sign), and then go home to spend the evening with two of our grandkids that will be spending the night with us. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but an enjoyable time for two old folks.
47 is just the starting point.

It's really nice to read positive posts like yours Raymond. I know the numbers sound grand, and they ARE. But quantity means little without quality, it seems very evident that you posses both.
Congratulations!
