I have finally got things set up for the slide show of the murals at Danville. At this point there is just a single picture in each one but I am heading out right now to take another round of pictures to update the shows.
By the end of the event I hope to have around 12-15 pictures in each slide show documenting the progress over the next few days.

Pat..After I took the first round of pics it took 3 hours to get them resized, added to slide shows and then uploaded. Fortunately the second set went a lot more smoothly and the time was cut to 1 hour. I'm going out for a third round of pics in a few minutes.
The walls are coming along nicely!
One thing I CAN say is that nobody is complaining about being cold. it is HOT, HOT, HOT!

Raymond it was hard to tell who finished their mural first, Jeff Harvey or Grampa Dan. Both are the early finishers!!!

Cool! I wish I was there. It looks like the weather is a little friendlier than Pontiac--the participants don't all look like they're about to pass out!

David...Trust me...It is pretty warm and we have seen some pretty red bodies!!!
There will be some hurting folks tomorrow morning.
What Shirl and I are doing is taking quite a bit of time and work, but that was what we signed up for.
However, it is a lot easier than the work that the dogs are doing! It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to produce world class murals like these.
I am in awe!!!

As of Saturday evening, 3 murals are officially completed!
The rest are pretty close to completion.
We are going to hang in until the hotel kicks us out tomorrow morning and then do a final round taking pictures. We'll upload the latest when we get to our resting place tomorrow evening.
It has been fun to meet new friends and to renew old friendships!!!
The whole concept of Letterheads is pretty COOL!

The latest update is now uploaded. There were a few murals that were not finished by the time we left so I am hoping that Scott will e-mail me final picures on them and I will complete the slideshows tomorrow.
For the Mac users...sorry that you couldn't view the slideshows, but I will be sending Barb all the pictures when we get home tomorrow and she is going to post them.

Wow Dave! Thanks for taking all the great shots of the murals we worked on. I can't believe I missed you while I was there. I would have liked to have talked to you. Maybe next meet! By the way, we were so far along on Dan Sawatsky's wall by the end of the day Thursday, that I walked across the street and helped the Diaz boys on their wall Friday morning. Dan had very little left and was waiting for Jay to get there to help!
Sign-cerely, Steve
