Sign•Foam is considered a polyurethane product, and urethane is the primary chemical component however it is just one of many chemicals and polymers used. When looking at why we are only discussing 16% it's because at this point the technology in recycling actual urethane is quite limited. So in order to make a move toward a more green product we had to look to some of the other chemicals used, polyesters and such, which are more readily available and usable in recycled form.

Also by way of thanks I think we will do a drawing for 2 free sheets of 1.5" 15lb. I will let the post run for another week to allow for others to request samples, the end day Friday we will choose a winner from all those who requested samples.
