I used a stripper a couple years back. She showed up a little late and was very expensive. The bachelor was pleased with the results, though. Not exactly sure she would work on an acrylic sign face, but I can ask her?

I don't think I'd try either, Jean. That plastic won't take the heat like metal will. You might give it a try around an edge, but I think I'd stick with the solvents.
I'm not trying the other kind of stripper either..too many chances for that to go bad too.
Good Luck!!

If those pan faces are more than a couple of years old ... new faces!
As they age, they get brittle, with a very good chance of breakage ... plus after you spend hours getting them clean ... there will be a ghost of the previous message!
I learned that the hard way many years ago!
