I like Gemini, their products are great and the workmanship is awesome but for the past 6-8 months it's been a disaster to get responses to quotes and placed orders.
The last three times I emailed them 2 were quotes and 1 was a straight order. On each one after close to a week I had to call and re-email each email i did before. The on the last order I placed they called and asked why I don't respond to the fax....I don't have a fax. If I email you a quote why don't you just email me back.
Maybe they are short staffed I don't know. What used to take 1 day for quotes and orders to come back to me now takes over 1 week UNLESS i call and complain and resend email.
What's up Gemini?

That is weird. I placed a sizable custom order from them about a month ago and didn't have any problems. In fact, the order came in 2 days earlier than promised.

We've place several requests for quotes and eventually orders over the past six months and have always received prompt replies, both by fax and email.
They have also done some special color samples for me (anodized aluminum) at no charge.
Over the past years I cannot remember one mistake they have made on any order. They always arrive on time and without problems.
There are not many companies that have that type of reputation....even mine.

Last month I placed 5 orders, 3 of which were custom with logos and 2 plastic formed letters. They were shipped within 3 days of each other - I couldn't believe the invoice numbers were 1,919 numbers apart.
I agree with you though about the timeline for custom quotes, I did have to phone and follow up after I didn't receive pricing after 4 days. They also need to ask a few more questions on installation as there are so many mounting hardware options.

Bruce, You may have hooked into a "third party" seller. Here is one: www.geminisignletters.com Take a look. If you didn't know better, you would think this site is the orignal. I worked for these bozo's a while back. They will do everthing they can on the phone to make you think you are dealing with the original Gemini. They are just one of many third party sellers out there. Seems that Lori got into their site. Note the upper left and right of the page. Authorized Gemini "RESELLER" The actual Gemini site phone people are super trained and knowledgeable. The ask all the "Right Questions"

Im using the same email contact that have been in my address book, that wasn't the problem. It's nothing more than human negligence

I'm surprised Gemini doesn't chime in here. They've told me many times, as odd as it is, they are able to respond much faster to requests by fax than by e-mail.
Unless they have changed this, try using the fax next time.
