I have printed some large, purple digital prints on my Summa (thermal) and worried about fading. 1 shot acrylic UV will help, but will it shorten the life of the material? I can't laminate.
Thanks, Rob

Jack Custeau in San Diego used to spray digital prints with Frog Juice, so I imagine the UV Acrylic will work.

There is a product called Clear Shield: www.clearstarcorp.com
It is designed for uv-protective coatings.
Hope this helps.........

Rob, I have a Summa too. I always use Frog Juice.
It's quick and easy.
Lately I've tried some Clear Shield Anti Grifitti clear with great results. Very tuff stuff.
Sometimes I spray with a 2 part Urethane for jobs that are around chemicals like gasoline.

ClearStar has great products and was started and owned by Steve Berman who is a master on giving persons what is truly needed. Steve Berman owned and operated Chromatics as well as other thingies which has improved this industry tremendously
