Working on this for a friend, and would like your input in how to improve it....

I don't like the water/reflections as they are right now but figured I'd go ahead and post anyway and see what else you come up with, and then apply advice received [Smile] Thanks!!

When I first read it, it read "Utdoor Adventures". The circle needs to look more like a letter and not a circle. Usually I'm not a fan of this type of layout concept. I don't like making the viewer have to think.

If you put the fisherman, boat and water inside the "O" it will look much better.

More of the O is needed.
I can see you'vew lined up the Ds, but I'd prefer a bigger A.
I'd prefer the ampersand that resembles a backwards 3 rather than the one that resembles an 8
I'd run a mid-line either side of '& more' for the length of Adventures.

I hate it when I have to add "& More" to anything. It seems like such a cop-out.
But sometimes you have to.
Here's a quickie suggestion.
Try a thicker font (this is the new Freebie from The Fontry) and try using a panel for the sub copy.
I originally used a circle but then I just used the "O".
You need to see enough of it to know instantly what it is if it's the first letter in your name.
I like your clipart, but had to substitute what I had.

Different font and like they said the O should be thicker and more complete. I like the idea of the fishing rod coming out of the O though.

If the O is rounder, I think that's all you need. I like the water/reflections. Maybe the boat should stretch a little closer to the A, not sure. I think it's almost done and does not need to be overworked.

I agree with just adding an "O" and leaving the logo as it is. I like the open feel and protruding elements. It would also work well as black and white that way.

The reflections need to be simplified a bit as well.

Wow, what a lot to work with - Thank you all!!
I will get back to work on it and apply some of the above, and see how it turns out.
And I'm with you Jill, this is one of those names I wish I could change for them [Smile]
Thanks again, Karen
