Who would think that on a rainy Sunday morning in April of 1960, a career would start that would span 50 years, and still be going. It was on just such a morning, outside of Houma, La. that this hitchiker got a ride with the shop foreman at the Houma Sign Shop, he offered me a job, which I accepted. It certainly has been a very educational trip. Lots of hills, valleys and curves in that long road called life. But in all honesty, I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I have worked in many places, across this great place called America. I have made many friends, seen many amazing things, and have enjoyed every minuute of it. And I would love to be able to go back and do it all over again. Maybe some day, some way I will get to meet some of the great people who call this site their second home. Thanks for allowing me to be here and share your lives. Peace my friends. Don

Hi, I was in Houma a couple years ago working at a computer show. What a cool town! I really felt like I was at home...of course, although I was only there for 3 days working long hours, I did get out to the restaurants and ride around too; beautiful country.
