We have been together for nearly 20 years. She is a loving, artisticly woman.
Many of you have meet her on our world travels.
Several years ago a rutine checkup found she had an anorism [bulge] in the aorta just below the heart. They kept a regular check on its growth, slow thank God..
But finally this year the risk of it bursting was too great. Instant death. She was admitted to a hospital in Brisbane 2 hours away. The operation to sleeve the artery was successful. But they slit her up the middle! 5 days intensive care and week in recovery ward.
An ambulance delivered her home yesterday. She very sorry and sore still and it will be a long recovery. But shes home with cable TV and her dog. Candy went balistic
Thanks to all who knew what was happening. Your support and best wishes helped.
PS: Sue is a frog lover and has a small colection. We found this one around the corner from Monte's shop in Oklahoma at the fountary. Little to big in fit in our bags home

That's great news Jon. My mom had that surgery close to 20 years ago now. It's a very tough one for sure, bit it works well. She's doing fine at 83 years old now.

Jon, have her take in a deep slow breath (without making it hurt) Why? Tell her I just sent a room full of roses, and the smell is beautiful.
P.S. and you wont have to keep watering them.
