I can't imagine Barb....my thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and your Mom. I agree with Jilly, sounds like she passed some of her greatest attributes onto you Barb! Love, Suelynn

Steve & I would like to Thank You All for thinking of us. We buried Mom yesterday and it was the most beautiful sunny day. She would have loved her funeral and all her friends and family being together. My daughter described Mom best when she said grandma was a confidante, a loving friend who was non judgmental and always had a compliment for everyone. She was someone who always looked to the “Sunny Side Of The Street” one of the many songs she used to sing.

SOO sorry for you loss, Barb. I think of my Mom everyday when I do some task she would have been involved in teaching me, or when one of us does something she would have been proud of or even when I think "Mom would NOT have liked that at all!" Moms are our biggest teachers, especially for girls I think. It sound like you know how to embrace the good thing about her and enjoy her memory. In a while you will be able to think of her without so much grief and just value that you had her in your life and try to be more like her. That's what I try to do. She sounds like a wonderful lady. Shaping your life around her example is one of the best ways to honor her.
