Hello everyone,
I'm glad I found this website because I have recently had some job requests that take me out of my safe little world into a place of unknown territories.
I have been working with vinyl lettering for sometime now but just small stuff like truck doors and such. I have a customer who has a cube van and a box of graphics that need to be applied. The graphics cover the entire side of the van and are made up of 48" x 96" sheets (four per side).
I guess they would go on in wallpaper fashion, but I would like to know if there are any instructional videos or information online that I could view before starting such a project....if I accept this mission [Smile]
I searched youtube but all they showed was small applications that I could do in my sleep. Any advise would be much appreciated. Thank you!

It sounds like your doing a complete wrap, and most likely in over your head. Try googling vehicle wrap! Good luck!
I'm not trying to be a smart a$$ but it is a complex and delicate procedure. I wouldn't do my first one on my own, and I am not timid about trying new things. It would be one thing if you could print it yourself, but if you can't, you may get stuck buying new material and paying to get it reprinted!

OK...after reading a few links (thanks Chuck....your input was an eye opener) I have decided to decline the job request of installing the wrap. I would however like to find someone in my area who does these applications so I can refer my customer to them and possibly watch the process and learn. Anyone know of a good company in the northern suburbs of Chicago? I will look in the phone book but a referal would be welcome. Thanks everyone for the replies.
