This go around Raymond got his copy before I did... I've been hanging round the mailbox all week with no luck.

Congratulations to SignCraft. When the little flyer was sent out over thirty years ago, asking if there would be any interest, who knew how much our industry would change in the coming years? Being a signpainter, one could not imagine. I responded with enthusiasm and a check for two year subscription. (High hopes for their success) I occasionally sit down with the first issue and just thumbing through the pages takes me back to simplier times when some of our prized posessions were a good set of quills ,(Grumbacher 52555 G grays, 303 G browns, & some 9358 sables), Sherwin Williams bulletin colors, Richart sho-card color, an opaque projector, some even had an Electro pounce. SignCraft was like breath of fresh air as you sat and absorbed all the wonderful photos and information about sign people just like yourself. Information about commercial sign people was sparce at this point in time so any bit of knowledge shared or photos of real signs made by real sign people was inspiration. To this day, I will go back through my 170 SignCraft magazines to find a photo or article for inspiration or to research a technique I've long since forgotten. (It's also fun to see photos of the signcrafters when we were much younger). Hats Off to a great magazine. Gotta go. #171 might be in the mail box.
