Leader Dogs For The Blind was in full force for the Detroit Autorama. This was the charity recieving the money. I like to think that what happens at these shows is more than just charity. It is a great way to feel free from the business side which we are a part of.

The work I see, and the people behind these, just
makes me appreciate the gift I have been given. Sometimes I fret over a customer who wants the job for just a little less. Than happy for the one who says: Go for it. After tonight, I am so Happy to be a part in Giving with no Expatiations. The pure fun of seeing old friends and meeting new ones creates a fresh breath of air. All I know is: A few drops of Paint and a little time with Friends becomes priceless. Sorta like a Mastercard commerical.

Last year I volunteered to go help (for the first time) at the Milwaukee World of Wheels charity auction event. It felt so good to help in whatever little way that I could, I went back the past January and did what I could again. It is an incredibly rewarding experience to do, even in a small way, what I can for the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Even though I am not a pinstriper per se, I do know how to paint most subject matter, or like to think I can. So, I go and paint some panels and donate all that I can and have a great time doing it. It is hard to describe the fellowship that takes place at these charity auction events!

Next weekend is the Chicago Brushmaster – Pinstripers charity auction for Hope Children’s Hospital Ronald McDonald House at the World of Wheels show. I have spent the last, nearly two months, trying to produce some work to donate to the charity auctions being held there. I hope I have created some pieces that will raise some decent money for this worthwhile charity.

So if you are in the Chicagoland area next weekend stop in for the show, bid on and buy some great art and help make it possible for families of seriously ill children to be together through a very trying time.

As Kevin says so well above....I do feel blessed to be able to help out with these events, even in a small way! A lot of a little things add up to great big things!
