I thought I look in on you fine folks. I have to say it's still a strange to wake up in the morning and not go off and make make signs. I miss my tools and working with my hands but not the dust. I do however miss being part of this unique community, it was a large part of my identity.
My application process to enter the OPP was halted by a hiring freeze. They are hiring in the fall and hope to re-apply then. Meanwhile I'm working on a new website which I hope to have up and running this week. Last year was an exercise in letting go, It'll be interesting where this year will take me.
It's been good to catch up on some posts, In a way it's like visiting family
Here is a sample of the service I'll be offering from the new site.

Oh, Shane, go! That is an awesome cause. We have store here called "Just Goods" (catchy phrase) and they have their first wind turbine in downtown on their roof.
Shane, you are such an awesome artist. I am so grateful that you have worked on this subject. I made a banner for the save the orangutans as they have the orangutan conservancy. (But you may know I wear my heart on my sleeve).
Anyway, great work, beautiful inside and out. Thanks for sharing your gifts with a very worthy cause for equality of human rights as well.

I'm glad you dropped in Shane. It's good to here from you again. We are currently renovating our office and showroom areas. I really liked the feeling when I walked into your studio. I found it comfortable yet informative and it reflected your mission. I hope to convey that feeling at our place too. All the best in your endeavours.

At second view of my post, it does look as if I'm getting into the coffee business. It's a design I created for a coffee business. Sorry for the confusion. You're right though Deb, it is a great cause.
Thanks for the Greetings. I'd like to see pics of your showroom when it's finished Duncan. Good word Kelly - have fun in Cuba.
