I've been a SignLab user since 1990. I now have SignLab 8 with a Graphtec 7000MK2-75. My question is anyone else using SignLab with a similar Graphtec plotter?
Any input greatly appreciated.

SignLab 7.1 with a very old Graphtec FC2100-60A 24" cutter still going strong.
I am considering upgrading to SignLab 8 here soon. I want to add the print and cut features this time instead of just vinyl cutting. Any tips or warnings?!? I hope it will work with my old Graphtec.
Sign-cerely, Steve

Thanks guys. We have had Roland plotters since1990(only two). When it was time to go digital we went with a Mimaki 6 color and a Graphtec plotter to handle the print cut jobs. The printer is awesome for us.We have not been totally happy with the Graphtec, mostly because our Roland 1400 seems to have been so more user friendly. We got with Signlab tech today and I believe we may have worked out at least one issue we had with th eGraphtec ,but we must have baffled our tech guy on other SignLab issues as he had to go and said he would call right back that was at 2:45.
More to come.

Used to operate my Anagraph plotter with my Signlab, but it broke, & I bought a Graphtec CE5000.
Signlab did not make drivers that you can download to operate the new plotter, so I had to spend $750 to upgrade to Signlab 8. Works good, tho, both the plotter & the upgrade. The Graphtec people were EXCELLENT to work with, tried contacting Signlab for me, to get me help & everything.

Well we did get a response from a SignLab tech that did know color issues pretty well.We are working with profiles to find something that prints as well RasterLink (Mimaki's RIP program) We have found 3M's 180J profiles worked well with RasterLink ,great depth very little graininess. As of today printing straight out of SignLab using the same profile the print quality just isn't as 'rich'.
That's all for now more later.
