So sorry to hear that. No matter how old our parents get I don't think we are ever prepared for them to leave. She is in a better place. I hope when it's my time, I go in my sleep also.

What can I add that hasn't already been said? My heart goes out to you. I can't imagine losing my mom. Seems like she was a truly beautiful person, Jon, on both sides of the skin.

Jon, what a beautiful, and strong woman. I'm so glad you knew her for so long! I just love the photo . . . what a lovely painting it would make!
Most of us are at the age to soon experience, or have already known the loss of a parent . . . but relating and identifying does'nt make it any easier personally . . . I've been thinkiing about you, but now I'll be thinking of you more . . .

I am so sorry, Jon. That must hurt very bad. How blessed she was to die in her sleep, tho. That is how my Grama went a year ago, just the way we were all praying for her to go.
