I'm using internet explorer 8 and you have some stuff that is not in the right places. All of your navigation buttons are too far left and when you pull up services the dropdown is putting some of your services way off the pannel to the left side of the screen.

In IE6 there are issues with the dropdowns too. The gray background won't go away once the menu drops down. The words disappear, but the gray block stays.
In the smaller panels below there are problems with image alignment. The bottom two look fine, but the one with the youtube clip has problems, and the one above it does too.
Overall I think it's a nice site. Clean and attractive. A bit wordy maybe, especially with so many underlines.
Edited to say: Some people say you shouldn't bother with people using IE6, but unless you know for sure that none of your customers are using it, I think it's better to accomodate them.
Oh, and check your email. I sent you some screenshots.
My mind wanders. And that's not a good thing, 'cause it's too small to be out there alone. Posts: 3129 | From: Tooele, UT | Registered: Mar 2005

Our site that we maintain that gets the most traffic averages about 65% of users using internet explorer 18% of those are using ie6. So overall 12% of that sites visitors are using ie 6. It's pretty much the same story across the rest of the sites we have too. It's difficult to get a site to work under all these different browsers because they all have different ways to display your website and interpret flash, css and even html differently.

Thanks for the heads up (and the screenshots) Russ. I emailed that to my web guy, but he told me pretty much what Ben said when we first started. It does look a heck of a lot better than before Glenn, and hopefully no more bugs.

Nope still messed up. You really do want them to fix this. I know alot of people will argue that ie is a crap browser (and rightfully so in most cases), but if over half of your visitors are gonna see your site that way, you should make it right. It could be something as simple as a non compatible font or it could be a messed up style in the css. I'm guessing probably a messed up style. You have to really code those styles tight and not leave the browser any room for interpretation.

Ben, I emailed him about it. He's being a little dodgy and if IE6 was the only issue I wouldn't be concerned, but I just read where you said it was a little blown out in IE8 as well. I use firefox, but I also have IE7 and it looks fine on that. I'll have to let him know about the IE8 issue.
Dawn, thanks for the vote of confidence. Yes I do everything here myself (with the exception some install help)
Glenn, it looked like it was coming from some weird site. I don't really know the details, I'm just glad it's gone.

Also you should have FB link to a fan page, not a personal page. People will be less inclined to 'friend' you than to 'be a fan' of your company.
