I would rate this meet amoung the top ten I have ever been to. Hosted by Jeff ["Jiff"] Harvey in Asburton about an hour south of Christchurch South Island NZ.
Jiff is a master signwriter. Excellent shop and great crew working for him.
The meet was a great mixture of all the crafts. There was about 50 attending including 13 Ozzies! Lots of good stuff done and lots of fun and sharing. Bit of booze flowed too!
Paul Jordon and Jiff held a gold/glass school:
Anne ["Enn"] Tigerlady Mcdonald and her mum
Unfinished panel drying in the sun ... great weather!
Jiff was the "Apprentice" to the "Goldfather" John Jordan. This airbrush panel was not done at the meet by Elvis but hangs in pride of place in Jiff's reception area.
Omarou Stone carving workshop. Wanted to participate but too heavy to ship home.
Scrolling/pinstripe workshop. This the masters brush box.
Lots of airbrush panels done. All to many to post here.
Brendon, one of Jiff's employees airbrushed this. Brendon has been in a wheelchair for 30 years! He is a full on signwriter and super nice guy. Check out him in the PInstripe race track!!!!!
My favourite airbrush panel was this 6x4 on canvis:
Of course I did a "Bushie^" demo on Marbling panels and added the traditional Silver Fern logo of NZ:
And finally, Jiff and his beautiful wife Annie.
Jiff is now an employee of the HARDLY NORMAL SIGN COMPANY. I wonder why?

Some great projects and I could almost feel the vibe from your commentary. Thanks for the photos - one day I'll make it down for a meet on your end of the world.......

Brian sent us a write up with more photos yesterday and I've just added them and yours to the past meets. NZ 2009
We have such wonderful memories of attending the NZ meet back in 2006. NZ sure has a great bunch of Letterheads.

Not sure Stewey. But it's at the Fine Arts/Technical College right in Wellington or something like that. Can't remember the exct location or host.
Brian Fairchild will post the details soon.
Judging by the last two Kiwi Meets I have been to and the super cheap airfares you can get, I'M GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The meet is being hosted by a combined crew, Nicole from Fine Signs put her hand up but their workshop is too small so they're using the Sign School in Kilbirnie
