Just got a letter from the Superfrog himself, he has beat the cancer. He says he is still weak, but is working out his problems. He even said he will try to be in Atlantic City in Dec. When it comes to Letterheads, I don't know many who have given so much to so many. Than God he is coming back to us. Bill

In Sign Builder Illustrated a while back, Butch said he'd chronicle his cancer battle but I didn't see any column of his in the last issue. I've been wondering how he was doing, but it's my fault because I could have easily called him. I'm very happy for the good news. He's quite a guy.

You won my heart when I met you in Tomahawk. You are a true soul to your talent and an amazing down to earth person. I was really moved when I saw that you were such a humble guy and that is what makes the difference in life. You choose the right way and upstanding road to give to others. I am a fan of yours as others are, and it is because of the genuine concern for others you have.
Good positive thoughts are sent your way. Please take care. Great to hear you are doing okay.

I'm really pleased to read this post! Perhaps someday the letterhead world will again experience the dynamics of Butch and Rod playing the crowd together again.
Wish you smooth sailing my friend.

I would also like to chime in here. I was unaware that Butch was fightin cancer but I'm certainly glad to hear the good news. It would be a shame not to have the SuperFrog to kick around anymore ;-) Butch is way too resiliant to get whipped by cancer!
Love ya man & prayers for a speedy recovery.

I guess nobody could have fresher news than this....
I was with Butch on Bourbon Street about 30 minutes ago. He looked fine and was having ice cream. Lost about 50lbs, doesn't talk too loud but he's wearing a big smile.
