Just reminded me of a church sign in the SF bay area yeeeeears ago. Hand carved incised letters, gilded, First Unitarian Church of Kensington!!!! OMG....

I walked into a Dairy Queen one day (years ago) and they had one of those little signs on a stanchion with the push in letters. They were advertising "BLIZZARDS $3.99". I pushed the I over to the left for it to read BUZZARDS.

Back in the 70's we serviced a waffle house sign and it seemed the owner was always out or unavailable when we dropped by to collect,..well this went on for over a month and the boss got ticked off and told us to change the first two faces of the sign and he would pay us,....go figure it worked ! Seems the guy didn't quite like the idea of running an awffle house,...we got our money within the hour,......
