I just wanted to publically thank David Harding for emailing me to contact ST.Marie's about my Mutoh. I did contact them and talked with Latigo and he told me what to do. I am up & running and did not have to replace the printhead like I was told to do by service techs. They are very great people and everyone should be told what they did for me. [Thanks]

Glad to be of help, Cynthia. Interestingly, I was at Lost Prairie this past Sunday visiting the St. Marie family.

Yeah, he was here. He came roaring in here in a brand new Corvette scattering gravel everywhere, scared the daylights out of the Bluebirds, drank both bottles of my 24 year old Chivas Regal, tore off his shirt and chased three does with fawns through the woods (fortunately didn't catch any of them), stopped to do 50 pushups, 100 situps and then introduced himelf. I thought I had recognized him but wasn't sure.

Actually, I was glad to see David again. I hope he's here a bit longer next time. He got to see our lifestyle up close and personal, though he was too polite to be visibly astounded.
heh..........

Lat is a very sharp young man. We had been paying $2,500.00 a year for the extended Mutoh warrantee, and with each visit we found the techs to be remarkably un-talkative and un-informative. Few questions answered, so.... in typical Latigo style, he found a very unorthodox way to obtain a completely unavailable service tech manual and taught himself. He spent a very concentrated amount of time learning the unit inside out, found a way to buy all necessary parts, cancelled the policy two years ago and now we spend a nominal, $275.00 a year instead of $2,500.00

Latigo was taught early on to share everything he's ever learned about anything with anyone needing help, be it Mutoh's, sign making and installtions, firearms, music, recording studio technology and everything else but his wife.
He knows that developing something and sitting on his laurels jealously guarding his accomplishments is an excercise in futility and stupidity, so he's learned to master something, share it and move on....... he'll tell you anything you need or want to know within his field of expertise. Am I proud of him? naaahhh
heh............

Good to see you all again.
Later

Must have sprayed some gravel in Pierre's eyes. It was a Maserati.
