I like the idea of Gill T. Signs, you could put a fish in the logo somewhere.
But the "T" might make people think you made T-Shirts.
I also like the idea of Groucho Signs because it makes me think of when you go "Todd" at the theater.
If keeping your present name, something like
Outside the Lines
SIGN CO.
Might look OK, if the Sign Co. part was in a panel underneath the name.
While I do like your name, it could seem rather vague to a client.
Also along the lines of the "Odd Thomas" books, you could drop the T in Todd and make it be Odd Signs, which might get both good and bad attention.
Just thinking out loud.
Love....Jill

Had a shop in the 80's after the name we printed " we do it all "

This worked well and brought in some very interesting opportunities !

My shop has had the name Artworx for the last 25 years. I began as The Artworks and then changed because of a lost UPS order of t shirts. Seems there are several artworks...so I changed it to Artworx. I can't tell you how many people call and ask if Art is working...and a few call me Art...and a few want art supplies. I never worried about it. This is the general public folks. You can't fix stupid. Jer...not Art
