This is the lovely portrait Bill Riedel sent of Peggy and me in Pontiac. Only problem is, it's Don Hulsey's wife, Dora. Bill and I had a good laugh when I called to thank him and point out the error. Like the others that have been posted, it's a beautiful job that will be cherished. Thanks, Bill - I'm glad you painted me with another pretty lady I also dearly love. And Don, thanks for sharing.......
BTW, my real wife is doing well and we appreciate your calls, thoughts and prayers......

Another good example of Never Take Anything For Granted. Boy was I surprised when Sonny told me that she was not his wife. Lucky he was not mad at my mistake. Bill

LOL, *that* really makes it special. That brought a huge smile to my face. That Bill Ridel is one super nice, super talented man. I don't think it was a "mistake" Bill.

OK...I tried to post my portrait and couldn't. What am I supposed to do? It looks like it should be easy. I can't figure out what I did wrong.

Hi Deri, a class sounds like fun. I believe the method I came up with would make it easy for most people. Would you believe I've been asked to teach hand lettering, sign carving, gold leaf, surface and glass and now portrait painting. This is something special when you know that most of it all has been self taught. Bill PS: Sonny has volunteered to pose for you, so you have a good start.
