I've been trying to figure out what to say in this post, but there isn't an easy way, so here it is: we just found out that Peggy has breast cancer. We have some great doctors, we start chemo on Monday, and her attitude and prognosis is good. No pity party, please, but if you have a spare prayer, we can sure use it. If you're not the praying kind, a good vibe or positive thought beamed in our direction is equally appreciated. Thanks Letterville, I'm only asking because y'all are family......

I had just called and had a conversation with both Peggy and Sonny and can honestly say that Peggy has one heck of a personality and sounded so jovial. She was full of excitement during our ten minute conversation and has a great outlook and many great supportive friends and family, so I am sure everything will go well. I then spoke with Sonny after he came of of the shower and he said he was happy I called and gave me the lowdown on Peggy's personality. Sonny was to visit just recently but as always, family takes priority.
Everything is gonna be alright

The prayers go up and the blessings come down. My 6 year old taught me that. Glad I listen to her. I'll be adding Peggy to our prayer list at church tomorrow morning. Blessings to you both.

wow Sonny... I started praying before clicking the link that it wouldn't be about anyone this close to you...
Peggy, you are such a rock... a shame to have to waste any of that powerhouse of positive manifestation of life that you represent, on battling some weak annoyance as this new pest... Prayers are with you as you kick it to the curb in short order, as I'm sure you will! Sonny, you and ya'll's daughter are in my prayers too, for knowing Peggy will prevail!

I don't know if we have any greater power than the rest of the family here but the family of the Hines in Nove Scotia have a big prayer going to the Franks in Georgia. I know you will win this small battle in lifes theatre.

Our prayers are with you. My wife is a four year survivor and is on a 60 mile walk this weekend for the cure. There is real good progress in treating breast cancer today...keep positive and it actually helps to keep a sense of humor.

Folks, we also need to pray for Sonny to have enough work through some tough times to hold that part of life together. Sony, my prayers for you are to have the right balance of focus and distraction, hope and solid information, gentleness and strength. Peggy, prayers for you involve being surrounded by support, finding hope everywhere, enjoying the reprieve from work as though it was by choice, and finding God closer that ever before.
